Funders as Partners provides a framework for individual funders and also alliances or consortia of funders to engage with partnership brokers as a means of increasing the performance and impact of their collaborations.
Funders as Partners is about PBA providing support and services for better partnering, which are tailored to specific situations or contexts.
While partnership brokers are always ready to share their experience and insight based on their own situations and practice, there is often a need for customized support or services. Typically, the requirement is to work out how in a specific situation, a funder can become a more effective partner.
Support might involve training, review/evaluation, case studies, learning workshops/events, co-creating / animating initiatives and programmes or a combination of these. Support can take the form of consultancy, training or specific troubleshooting on a fee-for-service basis. Depending on the task, PBA can prepare an offer of support or signpost to the most appropriate accredited partnership broker or partner.
